T.C.C. GROUND FORCE - 2011 - 7th of March 2011

Bringing the pavilion and ground out of hibernation is a project which is bossed and orchestrated by Jonathan and Toby. No doubt about it. However, volunteer help is essential and the broad plan includes: -

A list of essential tasks such as putting up the nets, cleaning out the changing rooms and tidying the scorebox

Some remedial repairs such as cleaning out guttering, treating the outside benches and painting the white sightscreen walls.

An improvement list headlined by painting the external pavilion masonry.

The list isnít complex and doesnít require skilled labour.

To provide an incentive and to reflect a small token of acknowledgement, this year we propose to reward volunteers with an item of clothing with TCC logo from the following list: -

         ĺ sleeve playing shirt

         Long sleeve playing shirt

         White trousers

         Navy v-neck sweater

         Club tie

         Polo shirt

We will also give participants either a cricket cap or a woollen beaniefor their efforts. The barbecue will be fired up and a burger lunch will be provided.
