T.C.C. CLUB OFFICIALS & CAPTAINS - 2010 SEASON - 24th of November 2009

Thornbury Cricket Club held their AGM last night (23rd November) and the club officials and team captains were nominated and selected for the forthcoming 2010 season.

There has been a change at the very top as Allan Taylor has stood down from his position as Chairman to be replaced by Mike Collett.

Allan has served on the T.C.C. Executive Committee for over 10 years in various guises and the club takes this opportunity to thank him for all his hard work and dedication in taking the club forward and overseeing Thornbury becoming one of the best facilities to play cricket in the area.

ANNUAL AWARD WINNERS - 16th of November 2009

Saturday night saw the annual T.C.C. dinner and dance held at the Ship Hotel.

The evening was compered by Toby Summerfield and David Hammond with the Annual Awards being presented by club President Derek Hawkins and Chairman Allan Taylor.

The club thanks all those who attended and helped to make it a very successful evening.

MGM SPORTS SALE - 9th of November 2009

MGM Sports are to hold a cricket clothing and equipment sale at Thornbury CC on Friday 27th November from 7-30pm to 9-30pm.

Various items of Gloucestershire CCC replica kit will be available plus England Ashes winning merchandise and the opportunity to purchase the latest cricket equipment including bats, pads, gloves, spikes and helmets at a 20% discount against the manufacturers RRP.

2009 - AGM - 5th of November 2009

Thornbury Cricket Club's AGM is to take place on MONDAY 23rd NOVEMBER @ 8pm in the clubhouse.

There are several positions within the committee that require nominations, including Treasurer, and this can be done via a nominations table on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.

It is improtant that all members make the effort to attend as reviews will be made by all relevant club officials and it provides an open forum for any questions to be asked.
